Philosophy Hope (The product I reviewed was Philosophy Hope in a Jar - Daily Moisturizer, there could be other variations) is a great hydrator. As someone who suffers from dry skin for years and had very little to no effect of similar products, I feel very thankful for finding this one. This is a product I've been using for the last year, and even though I reviewed quite a lot of beauty and skin-care products, I always disregarded him in this manner. I, for some reason, felt like everyone already know of its existence.
A random visit from a female friend at my house last week changed it all. She knew I am a beauty and fashion expert and ask me about a hydrator for her boyfriend, whose skin so stiff she felt it's quite a burden to come in physical contact with him.
I offered hope by suggesting Philosophy Hope and she was thrilled. It helped her guy sustain a normal skin again, with very little effort and she pushed me to write down this review/ recommendation to help others, so here it is!
The review :
Philosophy hope is a powerful moisturizer that fits even the most extreme cases of rough, unpleasant skin. I've seen it do wonder for people has been neglected for years.
Its formula contains antioxidants and it keep the skin dry and make it much less prone to environmental effects. It contains lactic acid in order to sooth and smooth the skin and thus it is very pleasant to use as well. It also helps the skin glow by using beta-glucan.
It's a feminine product but I use it too because it's so good (everyone needs a moist skin right?). The scent is not feminine per se, not a perfume-y one but definitely a pleasant, distinct one.
On top of all other already-motioned qualities, it lasts for a long time. You don't need to use it on a bi-daily basis like weaker products. I use it myself only twice a week and it has proven to be helpful and efficient.
The only downside of this product, as I heard from people, is that it can cause an allergic reaction around the eyes. I never caused me, though, or to anyone I know (and I know quite a lot of people who use this one as I recommended it on my blog).
It costs around $27 for 2Oz which is quite expensive but all things considered it's a smart buy.
